No optical experience? No problem! You will be provided the training and tools needed to learn.
Responsibilities:
* Perform preliminary tests on patients
* Answer multiple lines phone
* Schedule appointments
* Consult with patients, accurately document existing conditions and concerns
* Maintain a smooth flow of patients for the Doctor
* Conduct contact lens training for patients, ordering contacts
* Collaborate with the Doctor and team members to provide a seamless patient experience.
* Other tasks as assigned
About You:
* High School Diploma/GED with the ability to understand /do basic math
* Detail oriented
* Someone who is personable and warm, while keeping things moving
* Someone who is detail oriented and can work closely with the Optometrist and fellow employees
* Willingness to learn
* Collaborative team player
* Prior healthcare/medical/optical background preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
