Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Family Advocate at Family Promise of Hall County. As a Family Advocate, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management and support services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting assessments, creating action plans, providing referrals for housing, employment, and other needed resources, and advocating for clients within the community. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to help families regain stability and achieve long-term success.
Qualifications
- Experience in family services, social work, and case management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of social services and community resources
- Empathy and compassion for individuals and families experiencing homelessness
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field (preferred, but not required)
