Family Service & Children’s Aid is Hiring a Child Welfare Case Aide!

Looking for new to the field or a retired individual ready to help birth parents connect with their children. We are looking for caring people that will go the extra mile for our families that need to have supervised visitation along with our Foster Care Case Managers to help regain parental rights. Family Service & Children’s Aid is looking to hire an individual who:

The Child Welfare Case Aide will help transport clients as assigned by Foster Care Supervisor. Supervisor/monitor all visits between foster children and birth families. Maintain all documentation for case records and complete all DHS and FSCA required documentation in a timely manner. Complies with the administrative and service requirements of DHS and FSCA for the Children’s Service programs. Explains and/or presents that agency’s programs, goals, and philosophies in the community as requested. Assists in program evaluation and research. Attends training required by FSCA/DHS and utilizes additional opportunities for development.

For this Part-Time position FSCA offers the following benefits package:

· Generous paid time off (2-3 weeks depending on years of service)

Qualifications for position are as follows:

· Education: High School Diploma or GED

· Willingness to work flexible schedule including some evenings and some weekends.

· Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile liability insurance. With state mandated liability insurance coverage.

· Ability to lift pounds.

· Knowledge of child development

· Cultural sensitivity

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
