Position Overview:
Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
The Clinical Director oversees the leadership and administration of all office-based and community-based mental health services. This role ensures clinical excellence, program compliance, and financial stability while supervising a team of licensed and licensed eligible professionals. The Clinical Director reports to the Chief Program Officer and serves as a key member of the All-Leadership Team.
Leadership and Supervision:
- Supervise and support the outpatient counseling team.
- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and license-eligible counselors.
- Provide administrative oversight that focuses on productivity and timely submission of required paperwork.
- Ensure adherence to trauma-informed best practices and ethical standards.
Program and Clinical Management:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health services.
- Maintain program quality and compliance with state licensing (DBHDS, DMAS, CMS) and agency policies.
- Monitor financial performance, including grant writing and revenue/expense management.
Team Collaboration:
- Foster teamwork through program and clinical supervision.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and civic organizations.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all clinical documentation meets licensing, grant, and agency standards.
- Oversee case reviews, utilization reviews, outcome measurements, and incident reporting.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, or related field with expertise in family systems theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed care.
- LPC or LCSW required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Previous experience in supervising preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Leadership skills with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building abilities.
- Program development, outcome measurement, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer technology.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and ability to travel locally.
- Successful completion of background checks, DMV checks.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform light physical activity, including bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable traveling to various community sites as needed.
