THE POSITIONOur roster has an opening with your name on it

The Fraud and Risk Chargeback Associate is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and resolving chargeback disputes efficiently and accurately across the FanDuel Group brands.  Fraud and Risk Chargeback Associates play a key role in mitigating risk and ensure industry leading chargeback performance, compliance and customer support.  Intermediate understanding of the chargeback dispute process is required as well as a basic understanding of existing and emerging Fraud risks within Daily Fantasy Sports, online gaming or related industries.  

THE GAME PLANEveryone on our team has a part to play

• Review, analyze and resolve daily chargeback disputes efficiently and accurately.


• Assist with inbound and outbound support; including but limited to banks, processors, customers, merchants and card networks.


• Investigate chargeback claims and compile evidence to either support or oppose a claim through the reimbursement process.


• Assist with basic account review and resolution; including but not limited to status changes, payment refunds as well as the debiting or crediting of funds. 


• Collaborate with internal and external teams to maximize debt recovery and team efficiency.

THE STATSWhat we're looking for in our next teammate

• 1 years of chargeback resolution experience in Daily Fantasy Sports, online gaming or related industries preferred.


• 1 years of fraud experience in Daily Fantasy Sports, online gaming or related industries preferred.


• Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.


• Intermediate understanding of the chargeback workflow, bank and payment operations, payment processors, industry trends and best practices.


• Intermediate understanding of Check, ACH, Wire, Debit/Credit card, PayPal and other payment channels operating rules.


• Basic knowledge of common fraud-prevention strategies and systems.


• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills. 


• Availability to work flexible hours that include nights and weekends.


• Passion for sports and/or gaming industry a plus.


• Licensure: Must be able to pass required licensing as mandated by various state racing and gaming regulatory bodies

The applicable hourly range for this position is $22.12 - $30.14 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
