- Monday- Friday 10am- 6 pm
Availability Managers are responsible for overseeing all IT services, and ensuring they remain available to the client at all times. This includes desktop, server, network, telephony and cloud based services. In the circumstances where a service outage does occur it is their role to ensure service is restored as fast as possible. This is accomplished via coordinating with multiple teams to include high level briefings to client and Eagle Alliance senior leadership. That coordination combined with an intricate knowledge of the entire technology infrastructure allows for an extremely high success rate. This role requires high level, time sensitive, decision making, while supporting a high profile large Government client. Once service restoral is accomplished, root cause analysis is completed, to ensure similar outages do not re-occur.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must meet contract level requirements for appropriate position.
- BS or equivalent 4 yrs related experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in ticket management system like Remedy is a plus.
- Unix experience is not required, but is a plus.
- HDI Problem management certifications
- ITIL V3 certified
- Candidate must be a team player and have the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must possess good communication and customer service skills.
