ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Hands-on experience designing and building Mule 4 projects for different orchestration and integration patterns (for example, API's, SOAP services, scheduled processes, and event message queuing).
- Robust understanding of integration design patterns & best practices
- Understands and transform business requirements into scalable and manageable solution architecture and design specifications
- Working experience using Solace and Confluent for event messaging
- Strong working experience with the 3-layered API economy in an API-led architecture
- Experience in architecting solutions with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform on Mule 4
- Strong experience in performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform
- Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
- Ensure self and development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards from MuleSoft.
- Expertise in Batch message processing, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Extended knowledge about GIT
- Strong knowledge about automated deployment patterns for MuleSoft
- Work closely with other Enterprise Architecture and Software Engineering teams to ensure the quality of deliverables and documentation is adequate
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
Accountable for analyzing and designing Integration and Interoperability domain architecture to meet the information technology and business requirements
Establish integration and data standards, processes (ensure compliance), and operationalization of the integration solutions, assist in developing secure, scalable governance and operating model which includes assessment of new applications and technologies to be integrated, protocols to support, and underlying infrastructure components to execute on.
· Understands and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications
· Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API, event queue management, and integration projects
· Provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to integration engineers
· Define standards to guide solution decisions concerning integration for the enterprise
· Create prototypes and author detailed interaction specifications
· Prepare board level communications and diagrams concerning the integration platform

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 3 years of experience; advanced degree in computer science/engineering preferred
- 3 years of experience in Design and Development of Anypoint Platform
- Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns
- Expertise in Event-Driven Architecture
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Certification as Mulesoft Platform or Integration Architect required
- Ability to operate at highly varying levels of abstraction including business strategy, product strategy, technical design and implementation
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Typical noise levels for an open, cubicle-styled environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : This position requires periods of s tanding, walking, and the use of computer equipment. Additional physical demands include, but may not be limited to, talking or hearing, push/pull, stooping, kneeling, reaching w/hands and arms, and lifting at least 10 pounds.
