What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Manager position at Farm Services?
Farm Services in Graham is looking for a Parts Manager of outdoor power equipment. Must have some mechanical skills, but the primary responsibilities will involve ordering and organizing parts and overall management of the parts counter. Must be able to talk to customers well and work with them on understanding what their equipment might need. We are looking for a forward-thinking individual who will be dedicated to the company and would want to continue to grow with us. Pay depends on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble some outdoor power equipment, such as Stihl weed eaters and chainsaws
- Safety and operations training to new customers
- Order parts
- Organize parts
- Sell parts
- Check in equipment
- Work with the mechanics on getting the parts they need
- Communicate with customers about their outdoor equipment mechanical problems
Qualifications/Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum 3 years parts manager experience OR small engine mechanic experience required
- Mechanical skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Customer service skills
- Detail oriented
