Summary

Entry level claims adjuster, training position.  Training will prepare the individual for a position as an Office Adjuster.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete the claims training program through classroom study, hands on training, and independent study.  The training period will be dependent on experience and the employee’s ability to interpret insurance policy and perform the essential duties of a desk property adjuster.
• Learn to evaluate claims to determine if a loss is covered, the amount of the loss, and proper conclusion in a reasonable amount of time.
• Adjust entry level losses from the office as well as riding with Resident Property adjusters in the field.
• Visit agents while traveling with current Resident Property Adjusters and Marketing Representatives.
• Some overnight travel may be required.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
