Description/Job Summary
At Farmers Bank & Trust, Tellers are the face of the bank! A Teller's basic responsibilities consist of processing transactions for our customers, but there is so much more. To our customers, Tellers are their bankers who take care of them. To the Bank, they are our greatest asset in providing excellent service to our customers while making sure to protect the Bank against fraud. If you enjoy:- Daily contact with a great group of customers and co-workers;
- Building relationships with customers so you can help them figure out which products and services will help them the most;
- Paying attention to the details that keep everything in balance and ensure each transaction is legitimate;
- Helping customers when they have questions, need checks, or have other issues;
- Closing out each day's business everyday rather than worrying about what you didn't get finished;
- Having growth and advancement opportunities; and
- On those days when you have a customer who may be a bit testy, creatively figuring out ways to make that person's day!
Responsibilities/Duties
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience in customer service and/or cash handling
- Caring attitude toward other people
