Reporting to a District Operations Manager, you will use GPS equipment and specialized vehicles to collect soil samples from our customer's fields, to be analyzed for a Farmers Edge laboratory. In this role you will travel and sample a territory in and around Bismarck, North Dakota.
What you'll be doing:
- Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower's fields
- Ensure quality control and accurate recording of sample data
- Regularly communicate with leadership to discuss field conditions
- Sampling database administration and maintenance
- Safe operation of motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipment
What you'll need to be successful:
- Valid driver's license* for designated province/state of employment;
- Some agricultural experience would be an asset;
- Ability to carry up to 20 kg;
- Ability to travel, often to rural areas
- Availability to work a combination of days, evenings and/or weekends
