Job Description
The Kim Duty - Farmers Insurance agency in Newport is seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated individual, with effective time management, and a positive attitude to join our team. As a Licensed Customer Service Representative, you will provide exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, as well as work to support the agency team.
Candidates must already carry a P&C license and should have customer service in a professional office or in a retail setting. Need to have the ability to work in a team environment, and a professional telephone presence.
You must have a current/active P&C Oregon license or you will not be considered for this opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Process client policy change requests.
- Handle all incoming calls from clients and potential customers.
- Take and process premium payments from clients.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
- Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
- Call customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
- Proactively seek opportunities for cross sales with clients.
- Schedule appointments for Agent to meet prospective customers.
Requirements
- Active Oregon P&C Producer License is required.
- Minimum one (1) year of customer service or sales experience in a professional office setting or retail environment is required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
- Familiar with multiple computer platforms (Windows, Google, etc.) is required
- Previous insurance, real estate or banking industry experience highly preferred.
Salary : $20 - $22
