What You’ll Do As An Agency Business Consultant
- Partner with agency owners to analyze business performance and identify growth opportunities
- Develop actionable business plans focused on sales, marketing, staffing, and customer retention
- Provide guidance on recruiting, training, and coaching agency staff to improve productivity
- Conduct regular performance reviews and track progress against district benchmarks
- Offer solutions to improve efficiency in operations, technology adoption, and client engagement
- Deliver ongoing education on Farmers products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping agency owners navigate challenges and reach long-term goals
The ideal candidate is a business-minded professional with a consultative approach and a track record of driving measurable results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in business consulting, agency operations, or sales leadership
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Insurance industry experience and active P&C or Life & Health licenses are a plus
