We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Outbound Call Marketing and Customer Service Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team at Farmers Insurance Steve Davis Agency. As one of the fastest growing new agencies in Arkansas this role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our sales success while delivering exceptional customer service.
The Outbound Call Marketing Representative will proactively reach out to potential clients via telephone to introduce insurance products, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for licensed insurance agents. This role requires a persuasive communicator with strong customer service skills and the ability to work towards targets in a fast-paced environment.
This is a non licensed part time position with the ability to grow into a licensed full time sales agent.
Key Responsibilities
- Make Outbound Calls: Conduct a high volume of outbound calls daily to prospective customers using provided lead lists or directories.
- Schedule Appointments: Set up consultations or appointments for licensed sales agents to finalize the sales process.
- Documentation and Data Entry: Accurately obtain, record, and maintain customer information, call outcomes, and sales activity in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Meet Targets: Strive to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volumes, lead generation, and appointment setting.
- Handle Objections: Listen to customer concerns and effectively address objections or rejections in a professional and resilient manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a call center, telemarketing, or customer service role is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and professional phone presence.
- Sales/Persuasion: Strong persuasive skills and an aptitude for sales and negotiation.
- Interpersonal Skills: Active listening, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with people from a "cold start".
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Organization: Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Resilience: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and maintain a positive attitude despite rejection.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
