What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney position at Farrin?

It is expected that the successful candidate would assume increasing responsibility litigating complex cases.
What The Day Looks Like:
- Drafting pleadings, briefs, memos, and discovery requests/responses
- Conducting legal research
- Investigating the factual and legal viability of potential cases
- Working with expert witnesses
- Attending and covering motion and other court hearings, presenting oral argument and taking and defending depositions
- Preparing for and, as necessary, participating in trials
- Monitoring cases in order to satisfy deadlines Exploring and implementing ways to maximize case value
- Communicating with clients with compassion and empathy and in a manner that encourages their confidence and trust
- Support attorneys and staff within the litigation team
Our Ideal Candidate:
- At least 1 -2 years of experience litigating personal injury cases
- 2nd chair trial experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
- North Carolina license required
