Essential Functions
- Create marketing copy that reflects the FASTer Way brand voice to promote our products/services
- Stay up to date on new research and brand direction
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to illustrate projects and objectives
- Interpret briefs with Project Coordinator to understand project requirements
- Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
- Develop keyword strategy and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Prepare well-structured drafts
- Create or edit copy before publication
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Identify clients' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency of brand (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Develop sales copy for website, email marketing, and social media marketing
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Marketing, English, Journalism or a related field (waived depending on years experience)
- Demonstrated work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Demonstrated ability with Content Management Systems
- Solid knowledge and application of online content strategy
- Proven ability to publish articles and social copy via a portfolio
- Demonstrated experience conducting research using multiple sources
- Proven familiarity with web publications
- Demonstrated collaborative, organizational, and operational skills with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
- Goal and deadline oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
