Fat Angelos - Lemont Furnace is looking for friendly faces to add to our staff! We currently are looking for a Front of house staff member, as well as the opportunity to cross-train throughout our restaurant to open the opportunity of more hours to you. We are hiring immediately to start training all positions. This is a fast-paced working environment and we’re searching for people with some previous cooking/restaurant experience although we can work with anyone as long as you are willing to learn with us. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining/takeout/delivery experience for our guests. Whether you are working as a server or kitchen staff member, your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Duties:
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail
- Assist in preparing food items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and kitchen
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with patience and professionalism
- Regular daily/nightly cleaning duties
-Handing Cash Drawer and Making Change
-Finishing food items and completing orders after they are prepared.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
