Position Summary:The Senior Housing Case Manager “Support Specialist” provides leadership and advanced case management services within the housing program. This role ensures high-quality support for residents, promotes housing stability, and coordinates resources to meet client needs. In addition to core case management duties, this position focuses on supporting housing program operations, including onboarding new Housing Case Managers, assisting Stabilization Managers with interviews, supporting file reviews and audits, and coordinating new lease-ups into housing.Essential Responsibilities:Case Management· Deliver comprehensive case management services to residents, including assessment, goal planning, and resource coordination.· Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with program standards.· Foster positive relationships with residents, community partners, and stakeholders.· Represent the organization in meetings and outreach activities as needed.Lead Housing Support· Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new Housing Case Managers.· Assist Stabilization Managers with Housing Case Manager interviews.· Support Stabilization Managers with file reviews and audits to ensure compliance and quality assurance.· Assist with coordination of new lease-ups into housing.Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred.· Minimum 2–5 years of experience in housing case management or related services.· Training and onboarding experience strongly preferred.· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Skills & Competencies:• Empathy: An understanding and empathy for those dealing with homelessness and related issues.• Professionalism: Maintains the highest level of professionalism in the delivery of services, building of relationships, collaboration with co-workers, and representation of Father Bill’s & MainSpring within the organization and the community.• Communication: Speaks appropriately in positive and/or negative conversations with supervisors, coworkers, volunteers, donors and constituents; Articulates the goals of Father Bill’s & MainSpring.• Record-Keeping: Routine clerical or record-keeping incidental to the essential responsibilities of the job (including, but not limited to, data entry and case file updates).• Job Knowledge: Possesses the practical and technical knowledge required on the job.• Attendance: Acceptable overall attendance record, consistently at work and on time.• Reliability: Relied upon regarding task completion and follow-up.
