Faulkton Area Medical Center has a salaried position open for a full time Director of Nursing. Applicant must be a strong communicator, self-motivated and organized with a high sense of integrity. Top candidates will have prior management experience, preferably from an acute care/ER environment along with a strong understanding of state and federal healthcare regulations.
A current SD Nursing license and bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program are required. Certifications in ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC are preferred, not required - training and certification available on site, if need. If certified in PALS and ENPC, Director of Nursing will also serve as our Nursing Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator (PECC).
Faulkton Area Medical Center is a 12 bed Critical Access Hospital and designated trauma receiving facility with two emergency rooms. The Director of Nursing will oversee the operations of the emergency, inpatient and swing-bed, outpatient, and supply chain departments while managing a team of talented staff and nurses.
Salary : $89,600 - $113,000
