JOB SUMMARY

SPECIFIC DUTIES

& RESPONSIBILITIES

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible{or maintaining accurate records of inventory. The Clerk handles all paperwork and procedures necessary to meet this goal.

Inventory Management

Maintain and update inventory records. Perform all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures. Reconcile inventories to book records and make adjustments when necessary. Make recommendations to the Warehouse Manager on programs to improve the management of inventory.

Equipment

Safely and efficiently operate fork lift or any other materials handling equipment as required.

Safety, Sanitation, Security

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist

in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.

Stock Search

Conduct as necessary, any search to locate missing products within the warehouse. Adjust records when there are any discrepancies between actual product and records. Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies.

Inventories

Responsible for the reconciliation of customer annual inventories.

Cycle Count

Perform weekly cycle counts and make system adjustments as necessary.

Shortages

Maintain accurate inventory records to help facilitate shortage detection.

QUALIFICATIONS

Records and Reports

Maintain all necessary reports and documentation of Inventory counts including records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Complete and issue all necessary records and reports and maintain customer records in a timely and accurate fashion.

Customer Interfacing

Communicate with customers regarding all inventory

adjustments or variances.

A Education (preferred level).

• High School

• Experience (the minimum level of direct experience in a

similar position).

• 3 years forklift experience

• Knowledge/Experience/Skills: The Inventory Control

,Clerk requires knowledge of inventory management Procedures and general warehousing terminology aM practices. Skills in mathematics, personal computers, and related applications are vital. Interpersonal and communication skills are important

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Calumet City, IL 60409: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Inventory control: 1 year (Preferred)
