Overview
We are seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to oversee our employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities
- Develop and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and stay updated on changes in laws affecting employee benefits.
- Collaborate with HR team members to facilitate employee orientation regarding benefits offerings and changes.
- Negotiate contracts with benefit providers to secure favorable terms for the organization.
- Utilize HR software systems such as Paycom, Paylocity, and Kronos for managing benefits data and reporting.
- Provide training development for HR staff on benefits administration processes and policies.
- Analyze employee feedback and utilization data to assess the effectiveness of current benefit offerings and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CBP, PHR or SHRM-CP certification is desirable.
- Proven experience in benefits management or human resources roles.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements related to employee benefits.
- Proficiency in HR software systems such as Paycom, Paylocity, and Kronos is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex information to employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
