Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this full-time position. This position will provide information and assistance to students regarding the College’s Title IV Financial Aid management program. Qualified candidates will possess excellent accounting skills, communication skills both written and oral and organizational skills. The appropriate candidate should possess exemplary customer service skills and will coordinate activities with other college divisions, federal and state agencies, institutions, and various lenders. The candidate will also perform various other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid. Duties
The successful candidate will:
Monitor the process of importing and exporting files with the Department of Education and other regulatory agencies.
Troubleshoot, update, modify, and analyze the College’s financial aid system to ensure compliance with regulatory needs and changes.
Create complex custom queries and rules for a variety of financial aid management needs and reporting requirements.
Create queries to analyze and identify data integrity issues.
Test software releases.
Monitor and maintain data integrity of financial aid table, fields, reports, and related systems.
Work with Management Information Services to execute scripts to correct data issues.
Provide technical assistance and training for financial aid staff on system procedures, system integration, data integrity, and reporting.
Coordinate with information technology, finance, and other College staff to facilitate the resolution of implementing and scheduling new and/or modified business processes and the development of new modified database processes and reporting requirements.
Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving all system-related issues.
Assist with maintaining the efficiency and fiscal integrity of FTCC Student Financial Aid Office.
Manage the review of financial aid accounts for disbursement of funds according to appropriate federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal financial aid criteria, rules, and regulations.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in business administration, records management, or a closely related field; with three years of increasingly responsible experience involving the awarding and disbursement of financial assistance.
