Position Overview :
FC Tucson is seeking a highly motivated individual for an entry-level, hourly Sales & Marketing Associate position within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Sales & Marketing Associate will report directly to the Director of Sales playing a critical role in supporting all sales and marketing functions. This position will focus on driving revenue through ticket and partnership sales, assisting with merchandise organization, and representing the team at community events. The role will also include operational support to ensure the successful execution of matchday activities and community outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for soccer and community engagement.
As Sales & Marketing Associate , your primary duties shall be as follows :
Ticket Sales :
- Generate and maintain ticket sales through outbound phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
- Provide top-tier customer service to ticket holders and assist with any ticket-related inquiries.
- Assist with group ticket sales, including outreach to local businesses, schools, and community organizations.
- Track and report on ticket sales progress and provide insights on sales trends.
Partnership Sales :
Support the creation of proposals for partnership packagesHelp with managing and fulfilling sponsor activation obligations on matchdays and at events.Work closely with the Director of Sales to maintain relationships with current partners and ensure sponsor satisfaction.Merchandise Organization & Sales :
Oversee the organization and inventory of merchandise, ensuring stock levels are maintained.Assist with the setup and management of the merchandise store on matchdays and at events.Process sales and assist customers in selecting merchandise, providing a high level of customer service.Coordinate online merchandise sales, including order fulfillment and shipping.Community Events :
Represent FC Tucson at community events, building relationships with local organizations and fans.Assist with the coordination and execution of community outreach activities, including player appearances and promotional events.Help to maintain the team's presence at grassroots soccer events, tournaments, and other community functions.Provide logistical support for event setup, execution, and teardown.Additional Responsibilities :
Assist with game-day operations, including setup and breakdown of equipment, signage, and promotional materials.Collaborate with the marketing and social media team to support sales-driven campaigns.Assist in handling fan inquiries via phone, email, and social media.Provide administrative support for sales and operations, including managing databases, generating reports, and organizing files.Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and / or Club Leadership.Essential Skills, Experience & Abilities :
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.Previous experience in sales, customer service, or operations, ideally within sports or entertainment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.Passion for soccer and understanding of the sport’s culture and community.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ticketing software is a plus.Ability to speak Spanish a plus but is not required.Must be able to take directions, execute actions, and work quickly and optimally under pressure.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly on matchdays and during events.Salary and Other Employment Terms :
Employment Term : February 2025-July 2025Employee Status : Seasonal and Non-ExemptSalary : Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Paid via direct deposit.Commissions : Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Paid via direct deposit.Required Hours : 10-40 per week depending on the level of Club activity. Hours will be scheduled by the Director of Sales, tracked by the Club, and reported by the employee.Background Check : Hire will be required to submit to a background check.This position will be primarily working out of the FC Tucson Corporate Office and training facilities.This position must adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the company’s policy manuals.Disclaimer
