Job Description:
The Material Sorter in Gel Recycling is responsible for efficiently sorting and separating recycling materials to ensure the extraction of recyclable components. This role involves manual sorting, attention to detail, and collaboration with team members to contribute to the successful recycling of materials.
Job Requirements:
Material Sorting:
- Perform manual sorting of recycling materials to separate recyclable components from non-recyclable materials.
- Identify and categorize materials based on established sorting criteria.
Quality Control:
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure that sorted materials meet established standards.
- Report any deviations or issues to Supervisors.
Contaminant Identification:
- Inspect materials for contaminants and remove non-recyclable items.
- Report any significant contamination issues or observations.
Safety and Cleaning Compliance:
- Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
