The Paralegal will assist Staff Counsel attorneys in the preparation of discovery and discovery responses, issue subpoenas, summarize medical bills and records, coordinate expert witnesses, and assist in all aspects of trial preparation for BI cases. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys with the preparation of discovery requests and responses; preparing records subpoenas to non-parties and tracking and following up on the status of the subpoenas; summarizes bills and records; maintaining and updating lists of expert witnesses; coordinating expert witnesses by requesting conflict checks and providing documents and materials; tracking and coordinating vendor invoices; calendaring all trial orders and case management orders and assisting attorneys with timely disclosures and compliance with deadline; and assisting in all aspects of trial preparation. Position is located at our corporate headquarters in Sarasota, FL and offers a hybrid work schedule: (3) days working onsite collaborating with the team and (2) days remote.

The salary range for this position is $30.00-$46.00 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
