The Investment Operations Analyst is part of the investment operations team, which provides portfolio accounting and related services to the company. This position is a mid-level operations opportunity to join a growing firm providing advancement opportunity.
Job Description
· Conducts daily reconciliation on assigned portfolios using the Advent System
· Responsible for account set-up, securities set-up, and posting transactions
· Assists with the creation, coordination, and management of projects
· Creates queries that can be utilized to develop reports and enhance processes
· Completes assignments as requested
· Interacts with internal clients and responds to their needs, ensuring needs are met
· Works with Senior Investment Operations Analyst for project assignments and priority-based needs; must be accountable for reaching designated project milestones and completion dates with minimal supervision
· Involvement in project support or leadership as requested
Desired Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related subject, and/or equivalent experience
· 1 year of portfolio accounting experience
· Experience with portfolio accounting systems required
· Demonstrated command of Advent applications; proficiency in creating reports
· Demonstrated knowledge of investments
· Positive attitude and willingness to reach above and beyond in providing customer service to associates within the firm
· Demonstrated Client First attitude, always aiming to exceed client expectations and being solutions focused
· Demonstrated willingness to exceed expectations
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Excellent computer skills
