Construction Project Manager

Full-time position: Onsite employment in Gladwin, Michigan

Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 based on experience

FED is searching for a Construction Project Manager as an addition to our team that can efficiently complete a job from start to finish with extreme detail and customer service at mind. A Project Manager should be confident in their ability to work with others, take direction from clients and adjust the project while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. An employee in this position needs to be adaptable and capable of paying attention to detail while striving to meet project and customer goals. In compliance with FED policies. Objectives and Competencies:

Typical duties of our Project Manager would include the following requirements of the position:

·        Ability to manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.

·        Manage multiple different subcontractors.

·        Work with commercial building customers.

·        Ability to negotiate contracts and subcontracts.

·        Possess a keen understanding of all budgetary aspects of a commercial construction project.

·        Communicate up to the Senior Project Manager about each job on a frequent basis.

·        Outstanding management and communication skills.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.

·        Self-paced and able to hold themselves accountable to schedules and tasks.

·        Knowledge of Procore is required.

Education and Experience: Five (5) years of construction management experience is required.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods of time in a computer office setting. Employee will be responsible for weekly site visits, which may require walking on rough and/or elevated terrain.
