Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative fields such as engineering or operations research plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of work experience in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative fields in an analytical, quantitative, or technical role. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative fields such as engineering or operations research plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of work experience in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative fields in an analytical, quantitative, or technical role in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience. The position requires four years of experience obtained through work or education in computer-aided decision support, utilizing computer languages or packages to analyze data and generate reports, presentations, or insights in one of the above fields. The position requires experience with: Ability to lead a team. Proficiency in SAS or SQL, UNIX, or any fourth-generation programming language is essential. Project management experience. Strong human relations, communication, and analytical skills are essential. Expertise in building and implementing advanced analytical models to generate revenue, improve profit, and manage customers. Ability to work with large scale customer, transactional and financial data in various types of relational databases (Teradata and Oracle). Experience in designing and developing dashboards and other data driven applications. Experience in leading enterprise level initiatives to design and develop new pricing and revenue management system functionalities. Experience in the U.S. and international parcel and freight transportation industry and pricing functions. Supervises 7 employees (Data Scientists and Economists). *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Collierville, TN.
