What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator position at Federal Signal Corporation?
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must understand precision sheet metal requirements.
- Operating Press Brakes to fabricate sheet metal
- Keeping up with an outlined schedule of work
- Operator machine maintenance
- Maintain Brake tooling
- Responsible for the quality of parts leaving your machine
Position Requirements
- 3 years of brake press experience (desired)
- High school graduate (preferred)
- Must be able to lay out parts by hand with an understanding of bend allowances utilizing both inside and outside dimensions.
- Proficient at reading mechanical blueprints
