Federated Hermes (FHI), one of the nation’s largest investment managers with over $839 Billion in managed assets has an exciting opportunity available immediately for a Benefits Manager in the Human Resources Division corporate office in Pittsburgh.

What You’ll Do

This role will supervise a team of 5 benefits professionals in the U.S. and U.K. This international team will collaborate and administer the firm’s global health & welfare, retirement, pension and supplementary benefit programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.

This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated individual who has a passion for benefits, details, problem-solving and helping others. You’ll use your project and people management skills to lead team members in all aspects of the administration of all U.S. and Non-U.S. employee benefit programs and manage the execution of annual employee open enrollment and renewal of global benefits programs. You will also serve as the point of escalation for new and complex benefits matters.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or, in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certifications and relevant professional and/or military experience may be considered.
• 5 years of experience in benefits administration, global experience preferred
• 2 years of supervisory experience required.
• PHR, SPHR or CEBS designation preferred.
• Experience with leave of absence administration preferred.
