Position Overview:
- This position includes activities supporting investment monitoring, strategy, research, and executive decision making related to domestic and international retirement investments.
Job Description Summary:
- Under limited supervision, this role provides analytical and operational support in the oversight of the global retirement plans of FedEx Corporation, including US defined benefit and US defined contribution plans, as well as international plans.
- This position also provides financial analysis, as directed, on asset classes including global equity, fixed income, hedge funds, and other private markets including private equity, real estate, and infrastructure.
- Moreover, the role coordinates with internal departments and external parties on investment and retirement related administrative issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, finance, economics, accounting, or another quantitative field. MBA and/or a CFA, CAIA, CTP, CIMA, FRM preferred.
- Four (4) years' experience in an analytical role relating to finance including investment research/ analysis, asset allocation, corporate finance, pension management and/or investment risk management.
- Familiarity with fixed income, equity, and/or private market portfolio management as well as strong computer modeling ability.
- Strong research, analytical, human relations, and communication skills.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- Understanding of risk management principles including diversification and liquidity management
- Knowledge of financial data systems like FactSet, Bloomberg, etc. is a plus.
- Due to the collaborative nature of the role, the selected candidate will be in Memphis, Tennessee.
