What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indexing Specialist position at FedPoint?
FedPoint, previously doing business as Long Term Care Partners, LLC, was founded in 2002 and is a versatile administrator of large-scale insurance and benefits programs. We are hiring an Indexing Specialist to join our team! This is an exciting role working in a 400-person company with big aspirations, and a wonderful culture. We are offering a hybrid schedule to balance working from home and in the office. In office days will be required 2-3 days per week.
The Indexing Specialist is responsible for the distribution of work supporting operation groups across all programs including work type identification, enrollee identification, and data entry of case details. The Indexing Specialist is trained in all lines of business and able to support processing for Operations as needed.
The Indexing department is responsible for the routing of paper document, email, faxes and scans and control reports or operation groups across all programs. In addition, members are responsible for some system data entry transactions.
Required:
- Proficiency in various desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal customers.
- Proven ability to balance multiple tasks and work as part of a team or independently resolve issues.
- Exhibit a clear understanding of time-sensitive deadlines and ability to complete all tasks within those deadlines.
- Possess a verifiable and high degree of problem-solving ability and the necessary sense of ownership and professionalism to see all types of issues through to resolution.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as be team oriented.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
