What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Account Manager position at Fee Insurance Group, Inc.?
Responsible for managing various processing duties to support the commercial lines Account Manager. Process commercial insurance policies, verifying information on issued policies against data entered in EPIC to confirm all coverage and limits requested are included on issued policy and notify Account Manager of differences.
Once fully trained, work at home is available one to two days per week.
Responsibilities
Process endorsements, audits, cancellations and reinstatements of policies. Reconcile yearly premium audits for Worker’s Compensation, General Liability and Builders Risk policies, update exposure information in EPIC and/or premium comparison spreadsheets. Verify accuracy of endorsements against EPIC change request or other documentation. Notify Account Manager of endorsements that have discrepancies. Document notices of cancellation and reinstatements in EPIC and notify Account Manager of status.
Process invoices including agency bill installments for endorsements, audits, cancellations, and issued policies in EPIC. Fully utilize the EPIC system and related workflows to maintain accuracy and completeness of insurance data and electronic files. Send notifications to client for the Fee Online portal or prepare correspondence for mail.
Requirements
Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
1. A high school diploma required
2.Previous billing and data entry experience desired
3. Previous customer service experience desired
4. Kansas Insurance License (P&C) required within 60 days of employment
