The Role of a Burrero  

The Burrero isn’t just a position; it’s an essential role in creating the perfect Felipe’s guest experience! When you join Felipe’s as a Burrero, you’ll become the expert on our menu, the captain of the burrito line, and the face of our hospitality. You’ll be responsible for keeping service fast, food fresh, and the atmosphere welcoming. From crafting the perfect burrito to managing the pace of the line, you’ll bring energy, precision, and teamwork to the table every single day. 

Your Main Responsibilities  

• Greet every guest with a big, genuine smile and set the tone for their experience.
• Guide our guests through the burrito line with a helpful and friendly approach.
• Properly portion ingredients (yes, you’ll know the exact ounces!) to ensure top-notch consistency and quality.
• Work seamlessly with the Cocineros (Cooks) and Cajeras (Cashiers) to keep the line stocked, fresh, and moving quickly.
• Manage daily burrito line duties, including stocking, set-up, and end-of-day close-down.
• Prepare orders for our guests, online platforms, catering, and even the bar.
• Maintain a clean and organized burrito line by regularly wiping down the station, containers, cutting boards, and glass.
• Unload and organize deliveries while ensuring food quality and freshness throughout your shift.
