Job Description:
This role is to support the coordination and execution of the transportation department and staff in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures, as as directed by the Fellowship Square Lifestyle Director. This position will be a combination position (60/40) between administrative duties and driving responsibilitites not to exceed 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Facilitate the coordination of transporting residents from Fellowship Square Independent Living and Assisted Living to weekly doctor's appointments. Work closedly with Lifestyle Department to coordinate all Fellowship Square shopping trips, offsite trips, events and activities for residents. Supervise all bus drivers in daily activities and schedules. Monitor bus maintenance needs, inspection schedules and ensure compliance. Provide and facilitate quarterly training for all drivers regarding safety procedures for passenger wheelchair or scooter securement. Assist with weekly driving duties. Maintain invoice and receipt tracking procedures. Responsible for payroll duties. Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Lifestyle Director or Executive Director.
Qualifications
Minimum of HS diploma. Supervisory experience necessary. Experience with activity and transportation scheduling, organization, and experience with seniors. Two years' experience preferred. Must posess a CDL. Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook and Word. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
