ABOUT THE ROLE
Fenix Outdoor has an opportunity for a trustworthy, organized Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to support our organization. Our AP Specialist is responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company, which helps to keep our organization in good financial health.

Anticipated salary range for the position is $45,000-55,000 annually.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Receive and verify expense reports
- Reconcile expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records
- Facilitates set up and payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
- Ensure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identify discount opportunities, and issue purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed
- Assist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions
- Process 1099’s
- Other related duties as assigned
WHO YOU ARE
Requirements:
- You are extremely reliable and trustworthy
- You are comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
- You are willing to learn and operate other accounting software systems
- You communicate effectively with others, including outside vendors and internal coworkers
- You are highly organized and pay close attention to detail – maintaining confidential, meticulous records is a strength of yours
Preferred:
- You have education or experience in business and/or accounting
