Master Data Management Specialist

About The Role

Ferraro Foods is seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist to support and govern enterprise master data across our ERP systems. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data that supports core business functions including Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT.

The MDM Specialist exercises independent judgment, partners cross-functionally and contributes to system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced foodservice distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Master Data Accuracy & Integrity

• Establish, maintain, and improve master data standards within ERP and related systems
• Manage product, customer, vendor, pricing, pack size, category, allergen, and nutritional data
• Evaluate data changes and downstream impacts across systems
  
  

Product & Item Setup Support

• Support new item setup and product launches
• Oversee product images, labels, and related digital content across systems
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of required data and assets
  
  

Data Governance & Quality

• Enforce data governance policies, naming conventions, and categorization standards
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, duplicates, and missing information
• Conduct recurring audits to ensure data integrity and compliance
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Marketing, and IT to assess data needs
• Translate business requirements into scalable and standardized data solutions
• Support initiatives that rely on accurate and consistent master data
  
  

Systems & Documentation

• Serve as a subject matter expert for ERP master data enhancements and integrations
• Maintain master data documentation, standards, and procedures
• Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on data standards
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing master data within an ERP environment
• Experience maintaining data accuracy and resolving data issues across systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including tools such as XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF statements, and data validation
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with ERP systems such as NCR Retalix / Power Enterprise, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
• Experience supporting data governance, standards, or audit initiatives
• Foodservice, distribution, or manufacturing industry experience
