About Us
Ferreira Law is seeking an Associate Attorney with a strong interest in immigration law to become a part of our team. We are a team of dedicated attorneys, paralegals, and support staff who want to make a positive difference in the lives of immigrants, their families, and our community. Our primary focus is on removal defense and family-based immigration, with an emphasis on asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases for both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Job Description
Primary responsibilities will be to represent clients in removal proceedings, family court SIJS proceedings, BIA appeals, USCIS interviews, prepare and draft briefs and memorandum of law, and research innovative ways to help our clients. We always welcome our team to think outside the box for possible solutions to our clients’ immigration problems.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and New Jersey (preferred)
- Both experienced and entry-level applicants will be considered
- Team player with strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills
- Strong analytical and legal research writing skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability and interest in taking on complex and difficult immigration cases
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work accordingly
- Excellent attention to detail and case management/organizational skills are essential
- Highly resourceful and flexible in a fast-paced, energetic, collaborative work environment
Compensation package commensurate with experience and skills.
