Ferti Technologies is a growing company that is a blender of specialty fertilizers for landscape professionals, golf courses and the retail market. Responsibilities:
In this key role, Production Lead will be tasked with meeting all goals related to plant operations. Key responsibilities include assurance of production output goals, quality, cost efficiencies, team building and a safe work environment.
Responsibilities to also include:
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure blending of fertilizer products within established timeframes, quality, and cost standards.
- Establish productivity standards in support of sales goals and customer needs to meet and exceed operational and financial goals.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators for efficiency and effective cost management.
- Resolve service and product issues to customer satisfaction in a timely basis.
- Assist quality assurance through ongoing monitoring of blending procedures and regular testing.
- Provide input for materials management ensuring cost effective purchasing decisions and inventory control methods.
- Ensure required training in place and full compliance of all safety policies and procedures.
- Involvement in training, developing and coaching of employees.
- High level of communication and updates with Plant manager and operations team, daily and monthly.
Qualifications:
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing, distribution or related environment.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Strong customer service skills with an understanding of production metrics and implementation.
- Ability to train, coach and mentor associates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated advanced coaching/motivation and communication skills.
- Strong bias towards building and establishing productive work teams.
- Knowledgeable in all safety, environmental policies and personal protection equipment requirements and ensures that all policies are adhered to and all associates are properly trained in accordance with state and federal laws.
Physical Demands:
Must be comfortable in a production/warehouse environment with considerable walking and standing.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
