Fetch is a venture-backed startup solving the package problem for multi-family. Packages are sent to our warehouse, and we communicate directly with residents to coordinate secure and convenient door-to-door delivery. Fetch is currently operating in cities from coast-to-coast with additional plans for substantial growth.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Fleet Manager to oversee the operation,
maintenance, and optimization of our fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, logistics, and operational leadership, with the ability to manage resources and drive performance. The Fleet Manager will play a key role in ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, complying with industry regulations, and supporting the company's growth objectives.
What You'll Do:
Fleet Maintenance and Management:
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all vehicles in the fleet, including trucks, trailers, vans, and specialty vehicles.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime and improve fleet longevity.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with third-party service providers or in-house mechanics.
- Monitor and manage vehicle inspections, registrations, and licenses to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Cost Management:
- Monitor and control fuel, maintenance, and repair costs to stay within budgetary guidelines.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and track fuel efficiency, optimizing route planning and vehicle usage.
- Review and analyze fleet expenses, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure fleet operations adhere to all safety regulations, environmental laws, and transportation guidelines.
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures for drivers and maintenance personnel.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of accidents, incidents, and compliance-related issues.
Fleet Performance Optimization:
- Monitor vehicle performance using telematics and fleet management software to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Evaluate vehicle replacements, upgrades, and disposal strategies to ensure optimal fleet capacity and performance.
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure fleet availability meets customer demand.
Team Leadership and Training:
- Supervise and lead a team of fleet maintenance staff and drivers, ensuring high performance, safety, and adherence to company policies.
- Provide ongoing training on vehicle safety, maintenance procedures, and compliance regulations.
- Conduct performance reviews and set clear expectations for staff and drivers.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance, costs, and safety for senior management.
- Maintain accurate records for all vehicles, repairs, maintenance logs, and compliance-related documents.
- Assist in developing long-term fleet strategies in alignment with the company’s growth and sustainability goals.
What You'll Need:
- 3 years of experience in fleet management or a related logistics/transportation role preferred.
- Proven experience managing a large fleet of vehicles (100 ), including heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and vans.
- Experience with fleet management software and telematics systems.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, logistics operations, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to analyze fleet performance and implement data-driven improvements.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and vehicle maintenance standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

Getting a package—whether it’s a meal plan, a hot pair of shoes, or a new couch is fun. We aim to keep it that way, because delivery happiness shouldn’t end with a lost package, a moldy perishable, or a box teasing you from inside a locked leasing office.
So we designed a solution that removes the package burden from property managers and gives residents a delivery experience worthy of their excitement.
