The Payroll and Benefits Coordinator will, under general supervision, coordinate and process payroll, ensuring employees are timely and accurately paid. This position coordinates the payroll functions of processing timecards, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records, recording hours of work, and calculating payrolls for assigned team member populations. The Coordinator also provides informational support to team members and assists in resolving payroll processing issues. The Coordinator provides support to the Payroll and Benefits Manager with day-to-day operations, including team member informational support, resolving payroll processing issues, system data updates, and enrollment data entry.

Responsibilities:
- Complete changes to team member profiles such as direct deposits, address, name, W4, etc.
- Input and approve payroll related documentation on a weekly basis, including PTO, Bereavement, Jury Duty, Refunds, Deposits, etc.
- Verify all timecards and correct errors by contacting the appropriate individuals.
- Process hourly/weekly team member transfers, promotions, and evaluations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Complete uploads and scanning of team member profile documents and scan into HRIS system.
- Process terminations and all associated activities.
- Process child support orders, wage garnishments, and tax levies as specified by legal documentation.
- Provide support with payroll and benefits reports as requested.
- Provide support with reconciling benefits invoicing and resolve discrepancies with carriers and within payroll.
- Complete income and employment verifications
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years working in a Payroll and HR function or related experience required.
- Experience with Paycor and AOD a plus.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Prioritization skills in order to determine which tasks need to be handled appropriately.
- Excellent communication capability. Must be able to speak, write, read and interpret documents in English. The ability to do the same in Spanish is a plus.
- Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook as well as other PC programs that may be required by the function/area. Expertise with Microsoft Office in order to collect, compile and prepare documents and analyzes which may include charts, graphs, or tables.
- Type 55 WPM with a high degree of accuracy.
