Our banquets team is looking for a full time Banquet House Attendant to set and re-set the event space before, during and after events according to the Banquet Event Order's specifications. Previous experience is not required. Our banquets team works hard to ensure all events are exceptional including birthdays, showers, weddings, retirements, and events thrown by the club. Qualifications:
- Must be a great communicator, dependable and be positive.
- Must be a team player; have ability to work well with others.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of our members and guests.
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work indoor and outdoor environments.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry trays/objects weighing up to 30 pounds through a crowded room.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, wipe and lift to perform job functions.
Safety Hazards:
- General food and beverage environment with some exposure to heat from cooking areas.
- Lifting of heavy objects such as kegs, cases of beer, bottled water, Gatorades, etc.
- Handling of sharp objects such as flatware.
