Garbage Valet/Bin Pusher near Sarasota/Bradenton, FL - Drivers needed!

At Fido, we help property managers take care of short term and vacation homes.

We are looking for part-time contracted drivers for immediate hire in/around Sarasota and Bradenton, FL.

Drivers must be able to comfortably drive routes for the following areas:

• Sarasota, FL
• Bradenton, FL
• Osprey, FL (less visits)

REQUIREMENTS:

• 18 Only
• Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance
• Personal car or vehicle in working condition
• Personal cell phone with working camera

As a driver, you will be using your own car to drive to our client’s rental properties and making sure the garbage and city bins are taken to the curb for pickup on some days and pushed back to the home on other days. All instructions and routes are sent through a 3rd party app we partner with.

At each stop, you will follow the instructions left by the homeowner in regards to placement of bins or other trash. Each stop requires verification of completion by taking a photo of the bins in their proper place and the home in the background when applicable. You will be using your own phone for this.

Pay is a flat rate of $22 per each hour estimated for completion of a route. (From arrival at the first stop to completion of the last stop) and range from 1-3 hours daily [start time BETWEEN 2pm-5pm]. Particularly effective drivers will have access to more opportunities to earn more money as they need to based on our fluctuating needs as the market grows.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to follow directions and notes accurately - strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Basic to intermediate literacy in tech (mobile apps, etc.)
• Basic photography skills for documenting services
• Physical ability to handle outdoor tasks
• Comfortability being around and occasionally touching bagged garbage, trash and junk
• Ability to push and move/roll bins up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in gig work or startup environments
• Familiarity with the area
• Customer service experience for instances when you encounter guests or property managers

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work, exposed to various weather conditions
• Flexible schedule, up to 6 days a week.
• Routes assigned on an as-needed basis
• Regular communication with the local operations manager for guidance and issue resolution
• Occasional interactions with our clients and their customers
• Close proximity with trash & garbage (usually bagged) and junk

Work Location: In Person, On the road

Pay: $22/hour (flat rate of $22 per each hour estimated for completion of a route.)

**Note: Pay is hourly based on ARRIVAL to the first stop on the route until completion of the last stop. Time for travel to the first stop and from the last stop is NOT included.

Expected Hours: 1-3 hours a day

Shifts:

• Sunday-Friday
• Start Time: between 2pm and 5pm
• No late nights, No Saturdays
