Camp Assistant -
1.Team Leadership:
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of camp counselors.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss camp activities, safety procedures, and address any concerns or challenges.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture
2. Camper Safety and Well-being:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Monitor campers' well-being and address any health or behavioral concerns.
3. Activity Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and coordinate daily camp activities and programs.
4. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and camp staff.
- Address and resolve issues or conflicts that may arise among campers or staff.
- Provide regular updates to the Camp Director/Assistant Camp Director on camp operations.
5. Training and Development:
- Conduct orientation and ongoing training for camp counselors.
- Support counselors in developing their leadership and communication skills.
- Provide constructive feedback and evaluations.
6. Other Duties:
- Complete other tasks as needed by Camp Director or Assistant Camp Director
This is a seasonal position for the summer (May - August)
Must be 18 years old
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
