What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Fields Senior Living at Smokey Point?
Responsibilities:
- Clean common areas per daily schedule, sanitizing high touch areas.
- Keep chemicals secured and labeled appropriately.
- Make resident beds with fresh linens per weekly schedule.
- Clean assigned apartments per weekly cleaning schedule, following our cleaning guidelines.
- Clean office areas per weekly cleaning schedule.
- Relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner.
- Keep environment safe and clean for residents.
- Wash laundry as directed, keep towels clean for use on cart.
- All other duties as assigned.
Additional Functions:
- Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Must be detail and team-work oriented.
- Must attend required in-services/ workshops to further education of skills and community requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.
- Must be eighteen (18) years old.
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing in standard English.
- The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living.
Physical Demands and Requirements:
- Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the work day; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
- Must be willing to be active and on feet during entire work shift.
- Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items.
Salary : $17 - $19
