What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Final Draft Brewing Company?
We are looking for an experienced, talented, motivated host to support our busy restaurant. Ultimately our host is responsible for welcoming guests to a food service environment, controlling the flow and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
- Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area
- Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
- Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
- Answering phones and handling large parties
Qualifications:
- Host/hostess experience
- Food service experience
- Customer service skills
- Restaurant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Ability to provide excellent guest services
- Proficiency in phone etiquette
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
