Fincantieri Marine Group is looking for an experienced Combat Systems Test Manager with a background in IT & CANES to assist with the Constellation Class Frigate Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with NIWC, Navy AEGIS Test Team (ATT), SSBA, Lockheed Martin SI&T and other test organizations to develop and implement plans to meet all FFG milestones for the ships Combat Systems and related equipment.
- Assist Engineering when needed with subject matter expert input into the development and design of the C4I/Combat Systems on board FFG.
- Provide technical support to NIWC, shipboard integration, waterfront integration tests, analytical services and in-port and at-sea assessments.
- Identify, track, communicate, and coordinate problems and deficiencies and develop mitigation strategies as appropriate.
- Monitors and coordinates completion of all trial cards written against the various hulls are related to Test and Evaluation as directed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. AS/BS degree in engineering, computer science or other relevant field preferred, but not required.
- US Navy rating classifications or certification related to C4I and Information Systems preferred.
- Experience with Consolidated Afloat Networks Enterprise System (CANES), Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), GCCS-M network switches, routers, fiber optics, KIV-7M, and SATCOM.
- Applicant should have a good understanding of Navy Cyber systems and application.
- 4 years in a shipyard-testing program required, 6 years is preferred, with experience in Test Development, Trouble Reporting, sub contracts management, and Navy SOVT teams being a plus.
- 6 years of experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and testing Navy Information Systems, Computer Networks and Systems is required; 10 years is preferred.
