BMW Product Genius/Greeter

Pacific BMW is looking to hire a showroom Greeter responsbile of providing a welcoming atmosphere to everyone walking in to the dealership, including clients, vendors and coworkers. This position reports to the Sales Management Team. The Sales Department Hours are Monday-Friday from 9am-9pm & Saturday 9am-7pm & Sunday 10am-6pm. This is a full time, 40 hour position, paid hourly, non-commision based.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service experience
• Familiarity and passion for the BMW brand
• Availability to work in a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays 
• Current driver's license with at least three years of a clean driving record (no points)
• Bilingual/Multilingual is preferred: Armenian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Spanish

Job-Specific Duties Include

• Proactively acknowledge and engage all guests visiting the Dealership following Pacific BMW’s standards
• Enhance the customer's visit by personalizing each interaction 
• Inquire whether the client has an appointment and direct them to desired destination 
• Use all available technology including mobile applications and computer software to update contacts 
• Collect data for lease-end appointments
• Keep up to date with the new available products, features and specifications per BMWNA
• Troubleshoot the BMW iDrive system to assist clients with issues
• Explain vehicle features and answer questions as needed
• Train to become a certified BMW Product Genius
• Thank all clients for their business and inquire about their visit satisfaction  

Physical Requirements

• Surroundings: position requires ability to stand for long periods of time and walk throughout the company facility for most of the shift in air-conditioned areas 
• Infrequently: Bending, twisting and/or stooping, Kneeling and/or squatting, Climbing stairs, Lifting, Reaching and/or lifting overhead, pulling and pushing 
• On a regular basis: grabbing with hands
