About This Role

We are seeking a talented test engineer with a mechanical or aerospace engineering background to support a major US Air Force Program. As a Test Engineer, you will perform planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical component, subsystem, and full system tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. A strong candidate will possess at least 5 years' experience in a Test Engineering role. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-functional team environment and directly support our nation's war fighters. Responsibilities

• Generate Test Plans that provide verification of system requirements and identify necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline design team to produce Test Procedures and Data Collection methods.
• Coordinate, schedule and lead test activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards.
• Familiarity with Mil-Spec testing requirements as well as vibration, shock, and environmental test methods and equipment is desired
• Perform Test Readiness Reviews and produce Test Reports
• Lead both in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders.
• Perform preliminary "quick-look" analysis and provide post-test de-brief to engineering team and customers
• Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases
• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and in writing) and have good organizational skill.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and minimum of 5 years of related experience, master's degree in engineering and 3 years of related experience
• Experience with U.S. DoD product development
• Active Secret clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required
