Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a professional Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing team in Greenville, SC this is a full time, temporary to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud based accounting systems.

Job Description:

• Handle all G&A expenses
• Ensure proper coding of G&A expenses to the correct GL account
• Process recurring payments
• Process UPS freight
• Manage freight billing through AP email
• Handle truck delivery invoices via AP email
• Verify invoice expenses in collaboration with the warehouse manager and truck drivers
• Process inventory purchases, primarily received through the AP email.
• Handle dropship invoicing via AP email and USPS, and invoice the sales order related to the dropship
• Process non-PO purchases, primarily through AP email
• Verify invoices recorded using vendor statements
• Investigate and resolve any missing invoices
• Record automatic withdrawals for truck payments, ensuring to separate principal and interest expenses
• Select invoices to pay and print corresponding checks
• Verify check amounts and transfer checks to controller for signing and mailing
• Create ACH files for payments to vendors, uploading them to the bank for processing

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or GED (Required)
• Associates Degree in Accounting (Preferred)
• 3 years of AP experience
• Experience with Acumatica, NetSuite, SAP, and QuickBooks

Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Contract to Hire

Pay:

• $20.00 - $24.00 hourly
